Gathering of Shining Stars
The CongoFilmz Festival is dedicated to promoting, honouring, and encouraging filmmakers from Congo and abroad for their creativity, hard work and contribution. In addition, we are raising awareness about the Congolese movie industry going global. We aim to see this event become a real showcase of the Congolese culture abroad.

Telling our Stories to the World
CongoFilmz Festival and Awards is a ceremony of excellence organised to recognise and celebrate the professionalism, achievements and creativity of Congolese in the film and entertainment industries from the Congo and from around the world. This includes producers, directors, actors, designers, make-up artists, and so on.
This initiative aims to gather Congolese filmmakers and entertainers along with their international fellows to celebrate their achievements, showcase their work while networking with other industries' VIP. This event is one of a kind specially dedicated to putting the Congolese cinema on the limelight. It will hold during a first-class film festival followed by a sumptuous Gala diner that will be organised for this purpose.
CongoFilmz Festival & Awards will take place in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We are looking to sharing more information and cannot wait for you to be part of it.
BEFFTA
Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts
BEFFTA Awards is a distinctly special awards ceremony honouring the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Caribbean, Canada and globally. BEFFTA Awards is the first of its kind rewarding under one roof outstanding achievements and contributions from Africans, Caribbeans and Asians in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.

SKIFF
The Salaam Kivu International Film Festival (SKIFF), founded in 2005 in Goma, is the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s first international film festival. SKIFF is organized by Yolé!Africa and Alkebu Film Productions and brings together artists and activists from around the world who share a common vision of positive social transformation through critical creativity. Beyond its status as a radical film festival, SKIFF also serves as the premier artistic platform in North Kivu for Dance, Music, and Digital Arts performance and training. SKIFF was founded by Congolese filmmaker and activist Petna Ndaliko Katondolo, who continues to serve as artistic director of the festival in partnership with executive director Chérie Rivers Ndaliko. SKIFF is a 10-day festival that brings the local community together around film screenings and critical debates as well as offering free workshops in the domains of film/video/digital art production, music, and dance. FICKIN
The International Film Festival of Kinshasa was created to bring a contribution to the emerging cinema in Africa, and participate in the revival of the film culture in the Democratic Republic of Congo. During its first edition, a selection of films, fiction features, shorts, animation and documentary was presented in competition and out competitions. For the second edition, the festival will take into account both the artistic quality of the film and the strength of its content. Each screening will be followed by an audience discussion with the director (if possible) or other stakeholders (producer, actor, and so on).
CINEF
The Association of women filmmakers from DR Congo organizes each year the women's cinema festival for the promotion of women filmmakers. The first edition of Cinef took place in 2014.
