The cultural policy of the Democratic Republic of Congo falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture. They have provided us with sponsorship, incorporating certain benefits that help reduce our event related administrative expenses from the first edition to date.
The enforcement and supervision of the governmental communication and media policy falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Communication and Media. They supported the use of the National Museum and provided authorisation for TV shows to promote events.
The national broadcaster of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is RTNC has given us a reduced rate for utilising on of their studios, Studio Maman Angela, to showcase film screenings and offered media coverage in order to boost our film industry.
Brasseries du Congo is a long-established Congolese company in the food and beverage industry, with over 50 years of experience. They provide approximately 2000 jobs to local consumers. For the past two years, their World Cola brand has supported events by offering visual impressions, beverage services, entertainment, and a big screen for film projections at festivals.
Africell, known as “the people’s network” in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has grown significantly since its 2012 launch to become a joint market leader in major provinces, including Kinshasa.
